Undoubtedly one of THE BRUNETTES' busiest days at World MasterCard Toronto Fashion Week, we attended a total of six runway
presentations and still found the time to pose for some photo ops, proving that
we were “born with it.”
Collections presented on this
evening included those of Adrian Wu, DeMOYO, ASHTIANI by Golnaz Ashtiani, aMuse
by Evan Biddell, Mélissa Nepton, Bustle, and a series of up-and-coming
designers in the Mercedes-Benz Start Up National Final. After taking in the ASHTIANI show,
THE BRUNETTES stopped to chat with Michelle B. from 'The Bachelor Canada'.
Later we walked the runway ourselves at the Rowenta photo
pavilion, giving John the opportunity to strut his stuff for the camera and
show off his Bustle hunting blazer that he wore specifically for Shawn Hewson’s
catwalk closing.
Between runway presentations THE BRUNETTES also mingled with male models, snacked on Parisian macarons on offer from sponsor Caesarstone, received a party invitation from actor Sam Sarpong, and even took some time to blog about it all in the Target media lounge.
After a couple more solo poses at the Maybelline wall and
some serious noshing on model-sized sandwiches provided by Target, THE BRUNETTES ended their evening feeling inspired to get in touch with their own
inner model and struck a pose with Stacey McKenzie.
